To enter bios setup ... press ESC while you see the screen w/ icons (i.e. immediately). Then F1

i recycled the hda5 partition, and couldn't install grub. Windows was booted in between, dunno.

Setting font breaks the display --- scrolling does not work. I see text on the bottom line, changing.

Fbset recovers.
